Program Notes
A Harmonizer is a vocal synthesizer that uses a microphone or "pick-up" as a tone generator. The harmonizer is used as a part of a MIDI system in which it is fed pitch data that runs the sequence with the computer. The soloist would find himself/herself playing with an ensmble of violins in which the timbral color and rhythms are generated by his or her own performance. In this version, the soloist simply plays with CD accompaniment.
