For the Love of Drums was written for the 2019 Honda HBCU All-Star Drumline. The 60-member ensemble performed in the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade atop the American Honda Corporation float to commemorate the company’s 60th anniversary. For the Love of Drums captures the essence of HBCU-based show-style drumming.
