Rhapsody for Clarinet

Rhapsody for Clarinet is the second work in a series of compositions of the same name for solo wind instruments and piano. The first part offers a lyrical melody exchanged and developed between the instruments. This leads into an aggressive, punctuated section characterized by more strident harmonies and dramatic figures in the clarinet. The final section is a spirited melody that focuses on the agility of the clarinet.
